Mary E. Cerato (1924-2010)

Mary Elizabeth Cerato (nee Gollick) Born July 10, 1924, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital.10, 2010.

Preceded in death by her husband Dominic (1970), her parents Charles and Edith (nee Schinella) Gollick and a precious daughter in infancy. Survived by her two daughters Nicolette (Kenneth) Lingle and Pam (Larry) Kettwig; loving Nana to Michael (Theresa) Kettwig, Jayna (Kevin) Birdsong and Jamie “her little Min” Kettwig; three great-grandsons Jacob and Nolan Birdsong and Dominic Kettwig. Devoted nephew Mark (Rita) Facchina and nephew Michael (Joann) Facchina; devoted cousin Jeanette Gollick, special cousins Deloris (Loll) Poole, Norma Jean Carroll and Raymond (Jackie) Poole; “The Girls” goddaughter Susan (Ron) Naples, Barb (John) Petriekis and Jude (Pete) Danille. Sincere thank you to her neighbors Georgia and Gary.

Mary was a lifelong member of the Church of St. Anthony. Previously employed at Friedrich Binding and Embossing with over 20 years of faithful service.

Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials in her name to Senior Services Center of Will County or Friends of Sunny Hill will be appreciated. Visitation Friday from 3:00-8:00 P.M.
