MINONK – Everett J. Kettwich, 60, of 440 N. Chestnut St., Minonk, died at 4:45 a.m. Monday (Jan. 31, 2000) at his residence from injuries suffered in a fire. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Folkers-Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, the Rev. Daniel Gansch Boythe officiating. Burial will be in Minonk Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the memorial home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Mr. Kettwich was born Jan. 2, 1940, in Minonk, the son of Alfred and Mabel Warnkes Kettwich. Survivors include his parents, Minonk; one daughter, Brenda (Norbert) Wacker, Eureka; one son, Ken (Elizabeth) Kettwich, Las Vegas; one brother, Brad Kettwich, Eureka; one sister, Beverly Ruestman, Toluca; three grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother. Mr. Kettwich was employed by the Woodford County F.S. for many years.
